In partnership with The Sweet Potato grocery store and the Healthy Moms community, we organized a celebration of literally the most delicious carrots in Toronto (Pfennings - IYKYK). With crunchy tastings, storytelling, and hands-on activities for the whole family to learn about the connection between how food grows and the human and planetary health + how it impacts flavour!
Families were invited to come on down to The Sweet Potato, take part in games and try bites highlighting the incredible flavour of Pfennings' carrots....Imagine kids begging for carrot juice! We swear it happened!
It was the most fun way ever for parents and kiddos to eat their veggies together, all while learning about the importance of supporting local food producers who grow in ways that nurture people and planet.
